"Workshop for Drunkards" "I Want a Stage" 2011

"Workshop for Drunkards"

At the Kyoto City University of Arts Festival, Nakanishi Mizuki and Morishita Akane held a "Workshop for Drunkards." Together with drunk people, they made crafts and drawings using newspapers, tape, trash, etc. in a low-ceilinged tent set up with their legs bent. Nakanishi and Morishita used the word "Ashi Yunpe," which happened to be written in one of the drawings, as the name of their unit.

"I want a stage."

A live performance with singing and dancing from the neck up (Nakanishi) and a toy saxophone (Morishita). The performance was performed on an improvised stage and audience seats. The audience was given numbered tickets and were required to watch from their assigned seats.
