This video work was created using videos I shot the year I moved to Oita. The subjects are materials I have come into contact with, such as traffic lights, car lights, light reflections on the surface of the water, lights from audio equipment, and fireworks. I separated the materials by color and created the work as if I was painting a picture with a time axis. By changing the aperture of the camera, circular light is projected. There is something in common with my recent tempera paintings. I layered these videos and created the work by simple editing of colors and textures. The afterimage of the light that was unexpectedly reflected created an organic movement. I often went to listen to music around that time, so the work has a strong musical element.
