When I touch the soil with my bare feet while working in the fields, I feel as if the soil's cells are exchanging information with my own cells. I wanted to incorporate this same sense of comfort into my paintings, so I used soil to paint them. I created my paintings with the image of being able to connect with the soil that is usually cut off. My intention is to recall the wilderness that humans have forgotten.
